After you have created your Flash banners, you will need to create a clear button with an actionscript assigned to it for the ads to properly track. Make the button a square that is slightly larger than your stage (if the ad is a 300x250 then make the button 305x255). The button "fill" color can be any color but the "Alpha" needs to be set to 0%. This will create a clear button that is clickable.
You then will drag the button from the library, onto the stage, in a new layer at the top of your stage.
Please assign the actionscript below to the clear button. DO NOT ASSIGN THE ACTION SCRIPT TO THE LAYER. IT MUST BE ON THE BUTTON ELEMENT DIRECTLY, LOCATED IN THE LIBRARY WINDOW. You should NOT see a lower-case "a" on the layer with your button in the timeline. Also DO NOT fill in the http:") below with your own URL.
on (release) {
if (clickTAG.substr(0,5) == "http:") {
getURL(clickTAG, "_top");
}
}
When you export the files, please make sure that the option "enable simple buttons" is checked and under the export options, make sure that you enable actionscript 2.0.
YOU MUST EXPORT YOUR FLASH MOVIE IN FLASH 6 FORMAT TO GUARANTEE PROPER TRACKING.
